Overview

Founding Product Designer at Compute Software from September 2017 – April 2019, designing tools that automatically scale cloud resources by optimizing for total business impact rather than demand alone.

• End-to-end design of a SaaS web-app from onboarding to reporting with a supporting documentation site built from scratch with Jekyll.
• Partnered with developers to implement designs using front-end technologies (CSS and Clojure).
• Conducted customer and design partner meetings to gather feedback that shaped the product roadmap.
• Successfully pivoted initial concept within months to deliver a minimum viable product.
• Designed VM Scaler, a machine learning-powered tool that forecasts optimal cloud resource scaling strategies based on business value metrics rather than runtime costs alone.
