Genability

Overview

Product Designer at Genability from June 2014 – June 2017, designing and developing a comprehensive product suite for B2B and B2C clean energy providers and installers. Products were adopted by 8 out of 10 leading U.S. solar developers, major electric utilities, and emerging battery storage companies.

• Created a B2B energy rate explorer called Signal, quote generation tools with savings report capabilities, developer documentation, and white-label demonstration applications.
• Developed API documentation resources.
• Built a full-featured quoting tool called Switch designed to simplify solar proposal creation.
• Created a B2C savings estimator tool called Save for customer acquisition efforts.
• Designed storage savings analysis reports through a product Conduct (in collaboration with Tesla and Jackson Family Wines).
• Produced product splash pages and comprehensive marketing asset collections including icons and illustrations.
• Delivered white-labeled software versions for integration into solar provider platforms.
